Joy Chapel, located in Hollywood, Maryland, was established in 1868. It was the site of the first Joy Chapel, followed by a second structure built in 1894. After a fire in 1931, the congregation relocated, but the cemetery has continued to be used by the former Joy Chapel M.E. congregation, now known as Hollywood United Methodist Church. In 1967, a memorial chapel was constructed on the site of the second chapel and is used for special occasions.
