Sunday School

For now, we are not meeting for Sunday School. We encourage families to explore our online video library through RightNow Media. If you do not already have a RightNow account, click here to set one up!

 

Normally, our Sunday School is available during the school year for children in Preschool to 5th grade.When we have Sunday School, our students meet for the first 15 minutes in the sanctuary for a time of praise and music before going to their individual classrooms.  Our children’s ministry classes include:

• a Nursery for Infants,
• Two year olds
• Preschool
• Kindergarten-2nd grade
• 3rd-5th grade.

Our teachers use Cokesbury’s Deep Blue Curriculum to teach children what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ today.

 

If you are visiting with us for the first time, please come to the sanctuary where our Sunday School music directors will greet you and check in your child. They will then direct you as to where your child will be for pick up at 10:45. We look forward to meeting you and your children.

 

Children’s Church

We know some children can have a hard time sitting through a church service. We offer Children’s Church for students up through the fifth grade. The children start in the worship service; after the pastor’s children’s message, they are dismissed to Children’s Church for prayer, music and a message. At the conclusion of the church service the children are brought back to the sanctuary and are dismissed to their parents. Children’s Church is not held on the first Sunday of the month, which is communion Sunday. We don’t want the kids to miss it!

All of children’s workers are trained in a variety of ways to ensure the safety of your children.

In addition to these great opportunities, we recognize that children can grow closer to God beyond the walls of the church.
